Pay range point 

STA - PCD7 £24,496-£25,409 per annum pro rata over 39 weeks (term time plus 5 days INSET) 32.5 hours/week 1.0 FTE, plus 

Breakfast Club assistant PCD3 £20,812-£21,189 per annum, pro rata, term time (2 25 hours/week Monday-Wednesday)

After School Club assistant PCD3 £20,812-£21,189 per annum, pro rata, term time (4.5 hours/week)

This is a fixed term contract initially due to fluctuating numbers and budgetary constraints from 30 October 2023 until 31 August 2024, so may be continued.


Due to staff career progression and pupil numbers, we are excited to have this opportunity to welcome a new member of staff to our team from October 2023. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, talented and highly motivated Senior Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive school. The successful candidate will support the learning of our children in Nursery – Year 2 within our Early Years and KS1 class, alongside an experienced EY/KS1 teacher and STA.  

This Senior Teaching Assistant position runs alongside and includes the roles of Breakfast Club assistant and After School Club assistant.
